Speech & language

Focuses on treating children and adults experiencing difficulties with expressive and/or receptive language, auditory processing and pragmatic and social language. We also provide services for remediation of articulation and phonological processes in addition to treatment for apraxia, fluency and voice disorders.

feeding & swallowing

Therapy that targets every step of a meal; from selecting what to eat and bringing it to your mouth, to manipulating and the act of swallowing. A speech language pathologist can help identify difficulties and relieve those difficulties through exercise and compensatory strategies. We also address aversions to foods and textures.

cognitive

Speech language pathologist can address cognitive impairments including attention, memory, problem solving, safety awareness and judgment and orientation. Cognitive impairments in adults are commonly related to brain inquires, stroke, Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, chemo or radiation, Parkinson’s disease, and brain tumors.

occupational

Occupational therapy focuses on the assessment and treatment of sensory processing, muscle functioning, positioning, and coordination. This may include assisting in reaching developmental milestones specific to self care (eating, sleeping, dressing, grooming, bathing) or academic tasks (handwriting, fine motor skills, attention/focus).
